Amateur Photography

The idea that amateur photography from the past is now considered to be noteworthy to the history of photography really makes me think. At the time people took photography just for the joy of it, and now the works sells for money. I wonder if the same thing will happen after my generation dies. I think the problem is there are too many photos for photography collectors to be about to find photos of importance. By no longer using film, the planet has drastically increased the number of photos that exist. I secretly someday hope that someone discovers my iPhone pictures and thinks they are important, however, I doubt it!
