The Making of Walt Disney Cartoons
I can't believe how much effort goes into the creation of one Walt Disney Cartoon. I thought it was funny to see that there is both a night shift and a day shift of animators. The other thing I didn't previously realize about making the characters is that the animators use their own facial expressions. The animators look in the mirror while animating to help show the emotions they want the characters to portray. I'm learning a lot in my 3D animation class about how animations are created now. I think it is beneficial to go back and learn the history of animation. Understanding the old process helps me better understand the digital process.
