Wicked behind the scenes

I have had the privilege of getting to see Wicked on Broadway twice. I was super excited to get a behind the scenes look. The first video I watched was about the wigs. Every wig is custom fit to the head of the actor of actress. The wig makers then sew every hair to the wig individually. They didn't say whether the hair was real or fake. To be honest even after seeing the show twice I didn't realize the actors were wearing wigs. The Makeup people obviously do a really great job blending the wig into the scalp of the person wearing it. I also watched the makeup artists turn alphabet green. I though it was interesting to find out that over the coarse of the show she progressively gets greener and greener. The people behind wicked clearly haven't left out a single detail.
